A Sapiens consultant will meet with you for an in-depth discussion about your industry, business, and organization, the position responsibilities and the desired candidate experience. Ideally this meeting is attended by key personnel, including the HR Director and Head of the relevant department. At this time other pivotal factors (such as off-limits companies) are discussed. The consultant will personally conduct the search and acts as your single point of contact.
Sapiens develops a written draft of the search specifications which reflects the detailed initial discussions. This analysis brief offers an opportunity for feedback from your hiring team, as it will subsequently be used as a working document to represent your organisation towards potential candidates.
Sapiens conducts fresh research for every assignment. We do not simply rely on databases or our industry contacts. We investigate target organizations in depth in order to identify candidates who will be the focus of recruiting efforts. Our research provides a snapshot of the targeted industry sector at that very moment. In this way we can be confident that we will not be trying to approach candidates who have moved on. Our researchers typically make upwards of 100 new candidate contacts for every new search assignment.
We make selective calls to candidates who have been earmarked as potentially on-target. The function is discreetly explained and information gathered from the candidates in order to ascertain their suitability. During this period we provide you with weekly progress reports which contain full disclosure of all information. This information can have a strong impact on the direction of the search.
Sapiens draws up a shortlist of candidates and conducts face to face interviews with each one. These interviews enable the consultant to evaluate properly each candidate's fit with your company culture and the job requirements, and also allows the candidate to evaluate the function more clearly.

A shortlist of typically 4 or 5 candidates is presented to the client. This shortlist takes the form of written in-depth reports including our comments on each candidate.
The consultant schedules interviews and checks references provided by the candidate. We provide support throughout the whole interview and offer process leading to a successful hiring.
We close the search professionally, contacting all shortlisted candidates to give feedback. Additionally we continue to follow up with both client and new incumbent after the search is completed.
